Chapter 96Crimson Curtain

Khuna and I left first, we didn't have to pack anything and it gave us time to go drink blood. We headed out and dropped to street level without so much as a whisper. I noticed the sidelong glances of pride from Khuna. She was really happy with a plan, something to do, someone to take charge. And of course the feeling of payback without doing wrong.

We never wanted to stoop down to their level.

The streets smelled fresh to me, everything did. It felt so good to be in control once. Though I wasn't in control of where we were going at the moment. Khuna surprised me, as the place she led us to was very different to any place I'd been before.

A gay club.

I giggled as I realised why there were so many good looking slightly older men outside. Despite it being a simple Monday evening it was busy enough to have a small crowd stand outside. The bouncers, who'd just shooed away two guys who were trying to get in simply opened the door for us and let us in. They greeted us kindly with a smile and a warm look.

Khuna holding my hand probably helped a lot with that.

As we walked past the coat check and through double doors we noticed place was quite big inside. There was a sort of separate cafe part on the left and a big dance-floor with a balcony as the center of the building. Lots of cute guys dancing on the club-music with a happy looking DJ making sure there was plenty of it. There were also much more girls than I expected, mixed between the guys and sometimes dancing quite close to each other. But something was different.

After a few seconds I understood it. They were dancing this openly because there were no expectations. It was all just for fun and flirting. My face got the same gentle smile as this all was kind of like a show done just for me. I loved it.

Khuna poked me and let go of my hand. "Try a girl tonight." She gave me a quick kiss on my cheek before I could even reply, vanishing into the crows.

A girl. Since I was in a gay bar I might as well. I felt a bit nervous though. The only woman I'd touched was much older and hunting me. This felt such a different atmosphere. Where a girl would actually want me to flirt with. It made me very nervous... And warm.

I was curious to this place so I headed upstairs. I even had a choice, the wide stairs directly to the middle of the dance-floor or the smaller one in the back. I guess the smaller one would be better. I didn't feel completely at ease going through the dancing crowd, despite noticing many others just casually going their way.

Going around the dance-floor, behind the DJ area and past a bar I finally made my way to the stairs. I noticed two girls who were kissing in the dark corner behind the stairs, coloring my cheeks with a reddish glow. I didn't stay to look at them though, it felt so impolite, so I went up.

Upstairs was quite simple, three sides of a square with two small bars, in each corner. The larger stairs from the dance-floor came up in the middle of the balcony and next to the small stairs, behind me, was a sort of semi-closed off area. It was completely dark in there, so dark it made it hard, even for me, to see by. I just noticed the silhouettes of two guys kissing passionately and decided not to linger.

The other side of the square was very comfortable looking, several lower chairs and round couches where people just came to chill and drink. Of course the view of the area below was quite good from up there, which probably made it preferable to the cafe in the downstairs area.

I stood against the railing, looking at the people below when a girl, slightly taller than me stood next to me. Curvier too.

"Here all alone?" She sounded nice

"Only with a friend, she's down there somewhere I presume." I smiled kindly.

"I don't mind. Do you still need the tour?" She giggled a little.

I smiled. "No, I just walked around myself." I winked. "But your company is welcome."

I noticed the two girls beneath the stairs again, they were still kissing intimately and caressing over each others clothes. It made me blush.

She smiled back at me, a sort of teasing, naughty look in her eyes. "So, is this your first time in a place like this?"

I nodded, silently keeping my eyes on the girls making out. It was so soft and gentle, very different from anything I'd seen here. And I just couldn't believe no one else was really looking at them. Just having conversations right next to them without watching! I barely even noticed her hand on my back, caressing it softly.

"Enjoying the view?" She asked me teasingly.

I replied softly. "Yes."

Her hand moved from my back to my neck, almost tickling me. It felt so erotic and teasing I just sighed happily as I kept my eyes on the girls kissing. She stepped behind me, letting her hand glide from my neck over my bosom to my stomach and wrapping her arms around me, pressing herself against my back gently. So warm, so lovely.

I turned around while she kept holding me and just let her kiss me. So natural her lips felt pressed against mine. Completely going with the flow our tongues slid naturally out of our own mouths into the other, caressing, teasing. Her hands moved over my back again while our kiss was locked in place. My hands rose to mimic hers and stroke her neck as she did mine.

Our kiss finally disconnected, she aimed her lips at my neck as I did hers. It was so sweet it went completely unnoticed by me. Her kisses reflected mine and as I pierced her skin she stayed silent, softly sighing of pleasure. The blood flowed, softly. Like a large river it was unstoppable but kind. In the flow was hidden so much but I felt so light I could not discern them, like the souls in the river Styx. They were part of the stream but unseen by those on the shore.

The blood filled me and I let her go, healing the wounds before she would ever notice them. Nothing but a faint memory of a forgotten sensation. We held each other for a while, just standing there. Warm, soft. I kissed her on her lips once more, just a simple kiss, and walked away softly. No words were needed. We had shared a moment and her eyes followed me with a happy shine.

Outside I met Khuna with a surprised expression on her face. "You've been in there for over an hour."

I snapped back to reality. "That long?"

Khuna looked at my first serene and now slightly scared face with amusement. "Yes, but we've got more than enough time to get there. I see you've had fun, that's good."

I nodded. "Alright, let's go."

Leaving the club and it's music behind us we headed for the orphanage. Although I was afraid the experience with the girl would distract me, it had honed me to a degree that surprised me. Like a fresh shower I felt renewed and ready to face the night. The only downside is that it made me aware of a dark tone I'd repressed to the background. A dissonant voice in the choir.

Something was about to happen.

But no sense dwelling on it now. I would just have to wait and see.
